1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Flore portal ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Flore provides personalized probiotic formulas based on your microbiome test results, symptoms, and goals. You can also add family members to manage their formulas from the same account.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident to create an account. You may add minor children as family members under your account.

4. Your Data & Privacy

Information you provide (your health survey, microbiome results, family members) is used to create your formulas. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Not Medical Advice

Flore formulas are dietary supplements, not drugs. The Service does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for care from a licensed healthcare provider. Consult your doctor before starting, especially if pregnant, nursing, immunocompromised, or taking medication.

6. Intellectual Property

All formulations, strain combinations, and algorithms are intellectual property of Flore, Inc. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, or disclose formulation details.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. Flore, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by California law. Disputes shall be resolved in San Francisco County courts.

Your Privacy Matters

Flore is committed to protecting your data and the data of family members under your account.

Information We Collect

Account information (name, email), health-survey responses, microbiome test results, and information you provide for family members.

How We Use Information

Used solely to create your personalized formulas and improve our recommendations. We never sell personal information.

Data Security

All data is encrypted using AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@flore.com.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, before manufacturing begins. Once manufacturing starts, orders cannot be cancelled — every formula is custom-made for the person it's for.

Reformulation Policy

If your (or a family member's) current formula isn't meeting their needs, you may request a reformulation under these conditions:

• The current formula has been used consistently for at least 30 days
• Updated information (symptoms, how things are going) is submitted to inform the new formula
• Reformulations are provided at a discounted rate

No Returns Policy

Because each formula is personalized, we cannot accept returns of opened products. If you're unsatisfied after 30 days of consistent use, contact us about reformulation options.

Defective Products

If you receive a defective or damaged product, contact support@flore.com within 7 days for a replacement.

Informed Consent for Data Use

Flore improves its formulas through ongoing research. By participating, you consent to:

1. De-identified Data Use

We may use de-identified data for: algorithm improvement and machine learning; outcome research; publication in peer-reviewed journals; regulatory submissions.

2. Data De-identification

All research data is de-identified per HIPAA Safe Harbor standards. No identifying information is included.

3. IRB Oversight

Research activities are conducted under IRB oversight where applicable. Protocol #2026-FLORE-001.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to: request a copy of your data; withdraw from research (prospectively); receive notification of published research; contact our research team.
